Automax deploys CAPSturn
Automax a group company of Omax Auto group who are major suppliers of sheet metal tubular and machined components for automobile industry They are the largest manufacturers of sprockets in India. Calculating cycle times for their parts was being done manually with a variation of 15 to 20% of the actual cycle time. With CAPSturn they are able to calculate cycle time close to 100% of the actuals and hence plan their schedules. Since they know the cycle time ahead of cutting , they now have the opportunity of changing the process, tools and cutting parameters to arrive at optimum cycle times.
