SUN EXPORTS , Faridabad is an 100% Export Oriented Unit engineering industry established in 1991. It regularly exports precision machined components to automotive companies in Germany. The company has a policy of continously improving the level of technology it uses. Vivek Satyawadi, one of the promoters is a qualified engineer. He is always looking for ways to reduce idle times and improve productivity. He trained his team of engineers on CAD/CAM for making quick and efficient programs. Sun Exports invested in Cadem's CAPSturn software about 4 years back. Having cleaned up the programming activity, he wanted to track the CNC machines to see where he could reduce idle times. Cadem's SHOPtrack with mPODs was his choice, after evaluating a couple of other systems that claimed to track machines.
