mPOD strikes again
Cadem is happy to announce that its innovative Wireless Production tracking unit mPOD won the prestigious CMTI - PMT Trust Award for the best design of the year at IMTEX 2007 in Bangalore. The Awards were instituted by Perfect Machine Tools in memory of PMT's founder Mr. DL Shah, and are given jointly with the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute.
Our products have won this coveted award 3 times so far, out of the 5 times that we have participated in IMTEX.
The award reinforces our belief that the mPOD is one of the most significant inventions in the machine tool industry, and is sure to become a must-have tool in every shopfloor for measuring productivity. It solves the complex 'last-mile-problem' of linking the shopfloor with the top floor. It is the only device that is specifically designed to concurrently capture all the parameters required to compute OEE.
The mPOD, designed and created by Cadem's team of engineers, provides stunning productivity features to manage shop floors. SHOPtrack and the mPOD make a powerful combination to help you measure and improve the productivity of your machines.
We wish to acknowledge and thank Makino, LMW, Lokesh Machines and SAP Takisawa for their co-operation in allowing us to track their machines at IMTEX.

Who had the balls at IMTEX ?

Apart from the innovative CNC products that were showcased, Cadem's stall became popular for a free give-away. Our bright yellow and soft stress-busting balls with the Cadem monogram were a great hit with the visitors. We gave away 7600 balls in all.
Hopefully, the balls helped people destress on their drive back to the city on Bangalore's distressing roads.

We hope you had a ball at IMTEX.
