Sree Krishna Auto uses SHOPtrack to increase capacity
Established in year 1998 SKAI has emerged as a trusted and main supplier for its automotive customers. They specialise in CNC Turning, Milling, Drilling, Tapping, Grinding and Broaching on Forged components. Their customer base includes automotive component manufacturers, Electric Motors manufacturers and Earth Moving Equipment Manufacturers. As an SSI , identifying the idle times on the machines and using the machines to the optimum capacity instead of adding machines and adding to the problem was a major challenge .
After using SHOPtrack, Mr. Anuj Mittal says the system is doing its job perfectly by reporting the parts production and the idle times. "I have been able to track my machines and clearly see that operators have been idling in the night shifts. They ultimately make up by increasing feedrate to 120%, which was affecting the quality, tool life and machine life. I am happy that this problem has vanished after implementation of SHOPtrack."
