How do I buy direct from CADEM?
Email to sales and request for a formal proforma invoice for the product that you wish to buy. Upon receiving the proforma, please fax us (+ 91 80 22442732) your formal or official purchase order. A formal purchase order is essential for preparing export documents. Your purchasing order must have full shipping address and billing address.
Simultaneously, arrange to wire transfer the funds to us. We‘ll ship your order as soon as our bankers advise us the receipt of the funds. |

| Why must I pay before shipping?
The foreign exchange rules governing SOFTWARE exports are different here. All SOFTWARE exports shipments are required to be 'secured transactions', ie. to say the if the invoice value is less than USD 50000 then it has to be wire transfer before shipping and if it is more than USD 50000 then it is a bank irrevocable letter of credit (ILC) payable at sight or wire transfer. Any other procedure will be a violation of foreign exchange rules and would be an economic offense . We realise that these regulations are uncomfortable.These laws are soon going to be changed, untill such time we have no option but to follow them.
Please allow couple of minutes more of your time to learn the procedure that we need to go through to export to you:
Step 1 Receive
your formal purchase order by fax.
Step 2 Wait for the wire transfer from you and our banker's advise of receipt of the funds.
Step 3 After the 100% invoice amount has come in. It issues us a FIRC:Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate
Step 4 We then raise an invoice and attach the bank's FIRC and forward the docs to STPI- a Govt. office for software exports,for their approval.
Step 5 After STPI and customs approval , it ships. We use FEDEX.

What is a software license key?
Some of our products (NCnet and CAM Lite) come with a software license key as standard. The software key locks the program to a single PC. There is no physical shipment involved. You will receive a license key by email, which will upgrade the free trial to a licensed version. |

How do I install the license key to unlock NCnet or CAM Lite?
When you buy NCnet or CAM Lite and choose software license key you will receive an unlock code. This unlock code is related to the fingerprint number of your PC that you have sent us. The code is sent to you by email as a file attachment. For example: < 06022003-44112-17.lic >. Save this file in a folder. Browse to this file when asked to enter the license key.
If you are using WINDOWS 2000 or NT or XP you must log in as the 'Administrator' so that you would have the access rights to register the license in the Windows Registry.
Please preserve this key carefully. The license will activate the product only on the PC on which you created the finger print number. Do not attempt to open or edit this license file.

Fingerprint is a unique a number that identifies your PC. It is a number generated by our program. Using the fingerprint number we create a code that enable us to lock our product to your PC.You will find your PCs fingerprint on the startup screen of the program.

What is a hardware license ( dongle ) ?
If you want the flexibility of being able to move the program between different PCs, you can opt for a dongle. A dongle will allow you to install and run the program on any PC, and not lock it to any single PC. For example, you can run the program on the shop floor PC in the daytime, then on your laptop or home PC after working hours. You must buy a separate dongle for each program |

Submitted the form and downloaded the program but did not receive password?
Our web server is programmed to send out installations passwords automatically to those who have filled in the forms before downloading the trial programs. If you did not receive the installation passwords it could be because our server was temporarily down or you have specified a wrong email address. You could make a request for passwords by emailing to sales specifying the product you have downloaded. You need not download the product once again. |

We offer postprocessors free of charge. The trial program of CAPSmill and CAPSturn comes with a host of posts. You are free to download posts from our support page. The postprocessors are controller-specific. To make them suitable for your machine you will have to add the machine's parameters (rapid traverse, spindle power, etc.) and M codes.

DNC hardware: where can I buy them?
You can use any multi port serial card and serial to Ethernet LAN devices. We recommend cards from these companies as they have been in use with NCnet in many CNC shops. NCnet supports most commercially available multiport serial boards that have drivers for WINDOWS. Check-out their websites for locating their dealers near you.

How to DNC to CNC system that is are not listed in your support pages?
NCnet can be used to DNC to any CNC systems that has a serial interface (RS232C). If you do not see your CNC system in the list it only means that we do not have the right parameters settings to get the DNC going for that CNC system. Please seek help from your CNC machine vendor . |

Tool co-ordinates are shown with only one decimal for MM or two decimals for INCH, followed by zeros.

" Save" function is disabled in generic postprocessor.
