Procedure to upgrade the dongle
You will receive the program for upgrading <FieldUpgrade.exe > will be emailed to you by our support staff. Dongle upgrade is a TWO step process. Unzip the file and copy all files FieldUpgrade.exe, DSafe32.DLL and USafe32.DLL into a temp folder.
First step
Generating the locking code of the dongle
1. Insert the dongle on PC's parallel or USB port depending on the type of dongle.
2. Run the program <Fieldupgrade.exe>
3. Click on the button "Get locking code" from the TOP window.
4. The locking code keeps changing every time you press the button "Get locking code"
5. COPY or SAVE the locking code and email to CADEM.
When we receive the locking code, we will email a license file back to you.
Second step
Upgrading the dongle
1. Insert the SAME dongle on PC's parallel or USB port depending on the type of dongle.
2. Run the program <Fieldupgrade.exe>
3. Browse to the license file and click on button "Upgrade license" in the BOTTOM window.
4. If the upgrade was successful, you will see the message "Hardware lock up graded."
